Ο μεν Firth πρέπει να αντιμετωπίσει τον δυνατό Javier Bardem (Biutiful) και δευτερευόντως τους Jeff Bridges (True Grit), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) και James Franco (127 Hours). Η δε Portman έχει πιο “εύκολο” έργο ανάμεσα στις Annette Bening (The Kids Are All Right), Julianne Moore (The Kids Are All Right), Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) και Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit).
